Professional Registration Attestation

Authentication of professional body registrations including MDCN (medical), COREN (engineering), NBA (legal), and ICAN (accounting) certificates for UAE professional licensing requirements.

Attestation of Nigerian professional registration certificates for UAE licensing. We process registrations from MDCN, COREN, ICAN, NBA, TRCN, PCN, and other professional bodies through the full authentication chain.

Many Nigerian professionals working in the UAE need their professional registration certificates attested alongside their academic qualifications. Bodies such as the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), and the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) issue certificates that must be authenticated for UAE licensing purposes.

Green Apple Attest specialises in the attestation of these professional certificates. We understand the verification requirements for each Nigerian professional body and coordinate directly with them to obtain the confirmation letters needed before FMFA authentication can proceed.

Our clients include Nigerian doctors applying for DHA or DOH licences, engineers seeking COREN-to-UAE Society of Engineers equivalency, accountants pursuing ICAN recognition, and teachers with TRCN registration. We tailor the process to the specific requirements of your UAE licensing authority.

Questions & Answers

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Your degree and professional registration are separate documents that each require their own attestation chain. However, we can process both simultaneously through FMFA and the UAE Embassy, saving overall time. Many UAE licensing bodies require both documents.

UAE licensing authorities maintain their own lists of recognised institutions and professional bodies. Attestation confirms the document is genuine but does not guarantee recognition. We can advise on typical acceptance based on our experience with each UAE authority.

An expired registration can technically be authenticated, but UAE licensing bodies may not accept it. We strongly recommend renewing your registration with the Nigerian body before starting the attestation process to avoid wasting time and money.

The timeline depends on how quickly the professional body provides verification. Most bodies respond within 5 to 10 working days. The subsequent FMFA, Embassy, and MOFA chain takes approximately 15 to 20 working days.
