Marriage Certificate Authentication

Full-chain authentication of PSA marriage certificates for spouse visa applications, family residence permits, and legal proceedings in the UAE.

Marriage Certificate Authentication processes your PSA-issued marriage certificate through the DFA and UAE Embassy chain for use in spouse visa sponsorship, dependent registration, and family status documentation in the UAE. GreenAttest handles every step from Manila to MOFA.

Filipino nationals sponsoring a spouse in the UAE or establishing marital status for legal purposes must present a fully attested marriage certificate. The document must be a PSA-issued marriage certificate bearing the official PSA seal and security features. Church-issued or local civil registrar copies are not accepted for attestation.

The attestation chain follows the same path as other Philippine documents: DFA red ribbon authentication, UAE Embassy attestation in Manila, and final MOFA stamping in the UAE. However, marriage certificates have additional considerations. The names on the certificate must match both spouses' passports, and for marriages solemnized outside the Philippines, additional registration steps may be required.

GreenAttest manages the complete process, including obtaining fresh PSA copies, DFA authentication, embassy submission, and MOFA stamping. We also handle complex cases such as marriages performed under Muslim law, marriages solemnized abroad, and second marriages where previous annulment or death certificates must accompany the current marriage certificate.

Marriages performed abroad must be reported and registered with the nearest Philippine Embassy or Consulate, and then registered with the PSA. The PSA-issued Report of Marriage is the document that enters the attestation chain. GreenAttest assists with this registration process.
